HISTORY
The "Pompano Beach Cultural Arts Foundation Inc."was founded
as a not-for-profit 501©(3) Corporation in May1999
by the Pompano Beach City Commission.
In 2003 the Pompano Beach City Commission renamed the Foundation
The Herb Skolnick Cultural Arts Foundation
of Pompano Beach
honoring the late Commissioner Herb Skolnick
for his outstanding devotion to the Cultural Arts.
LEADERSHIP
The Corporation Documents establish
that the City Commission be assigned the HSCAF Board of Directors, the City Manager the HSCAF Director,
and the City Attorney the HSCAF Registered Agent.
MISSION
The HSCAF Inc. shall offer the highest standard of diverse Cultural Arts
to the Residents of the City of Pompano Beach.
The HSCAF was organized exclusively for literary, educational and charitable purposes, specifically to provide for the promotion,coordination, appreciation and support
of diverse Cultural Arts
All funds, whether income or principal, and whether acquired by gift
of contribution or otherwise, shall be devoted to said purpose.

To this end, the Corporation shall at all times be operated exclusively for those purposes within the meaning of Section ©(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as so enacted or hereafter amended including, for such purposes, the making of disributions to organizations that qualify as expempt organizations under Section 501© (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 12986.
