NationalPoetry Conference 2009
Ft. Lauderdale, FL – On June 19th – 21st, 2009, a national poetry organization dedicated to the education of the fine art of poetry called The Underground Poet's Society, Inc. (http://www.TheUnPS.com) will host its National Poetry Conference 2009 at The Bahia Mar Beach Resort and Yachting Club.
The event will take place in The Bahia Mar’s 1,000 seat Commodore Ballroom which will be over the course of 3 days and 3 nights. During that time, 3 poetry shows will take place, along with workshops, a $1,000.00 Talent Competition, a $500.00 Youth Poetry Slam, a Neo-Soul Showcase, a Hip-Hop Showcase and plenty of free time right in the middle of Fort Lauderdale Beach!

The $1,000 Talent Competition, the $500.00 Youth Poetry Slam, and all after hour events will be charged separately at the event itself (Optional)!
